Holly Yzquierdo is an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager and has served at Catholic Charities since 2014. She is passionate about helping nonprofits share the impact of their work in a digital world. Holly has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cameron University. Outside of work, Holly enjoys spending time with her family.

If you walked into Emily’s office, you’d never know the lifetime of abuse she experienced daily. Although young, Emily is a hardworking, ambitious employee and an attentive, loving mother. Most people would be envious of the way her life looks, but in truth, she was being abused, physically, emotionally and financially.

In early 2016, Kayla was homeless. Her twin boys had been placed in foster care and she was pregnant with her third child.
Desperate and alone, Kayla went to Catholic Charities in Cottonwood for help. She found a case manager that would support her along the way.

Kathryn became a foster parent to make a difference in a child’s life. As a lawyer for Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS), she saw the incredible need for foster parents. 

When Julia and Greg looked into becoming foster parents, they didn’t know if it was the right time, but they felt called to fostering.

“This family journey was painful, but it’s better than a romantic story. It’s the best story I ever heard. It’s the story of how we became a family,” said Carlie, age 10 years old.
