Holly Yzquierdo is an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager and has served at Catholic Charities since 2014. She is passionate about helping nonprofits share the impact of their work in a digital world. Holly has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cameron University. Outside of work, Holly enjoys spending time with her family.

When we see accidents and natural disasters, often our first response is to pray. It feels good to know we can do something to help situations we have no physical control over.

Rebecca Dominguez has worked with Catholic Charities for 17 years and is a Senior Program Supervisor for the Foster Care and Adoption program. In addition to supporting foster parents, she is also a foster parent herself.

As the social service arm of the Diocese of Phoenix, Catholic Charities Community Services proudly partners with local parishes and faith communities to raise awareness of the many ways our neighbors can find help during times of need and to provide options for parishes to live out their faith with life-affirming acts of service and faith-building service opportunities.

Each year, students from St. John XXIII Catholic School in Phoenix participate in Miracle Projects. This year, sixty 6th-grade students raised $15,000 to support children in foster care, families escaping domestic violence, people experiencing homelessness and many others! The 7th-grade class will participate in Miracle Projects during the spring semester.

When children experience trauma at a young age, it radically alters the course of their lives, especially when that trauma isn’t recognized and treated. It takes extraordinary circumstances, including steadfast bravery, to deal with the long-term effects of that trauma and find healing.
