Holly Yzquierdo

Holly Yzquierdo is an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager and has served at Catholic Charities since 2014. She is passionate about helping nonprofits share the impact of their work in a digital world. Holly has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cameron University. Outside of work, Holly enjoys spending time with her family.

At age 26, Taylor can recount a life filled with dysfunction, drugs, violence, sexual abuse and exploitation, and trafficking.

Catholic Charities' Veterans Outreach Center (VOC) located at the Lodestar Day Resource Center is like an oasis for veterans experiencing homelessness in Phoenix.

The VOC offers a place where veterans have access to coffee, cold water, computers, chargers, snacks and more.

Concepcion “Connie” Guevara lived as a single mother to seven children when she first learned about Head Start. Even with all of her responsibilities and business, she managed to find time to volunteer in her childrens' classrooms. Eventually, she became a Westside Head Start teacher.

Sixth grade students at St. John XXIII Catholic School understand what it means to serve others, especially when taking on Catholic Charities' Miracle Projects.

Miracle Projects encourage students to raise money for people who need help by selling crafts at a school marketplace. Student's use their imagination to create bracelets, cards, books, stress balls, bookmarks and other sellable items. The money raised funds Catholic Charities programs to help veterans, foster care families, the homeless and so many others.

Nicole Barrier decided to foster to grow her family. Now, years later, she shares her experience as a foster parent with Catholic Charities.
