Outside of work, Holly enjoys spending time with her family.

Man Won't Part with His Dog

“I’d rather be homeless with my dog, than leave my dog behind,” said Kenneth Brown, an injured truck driver living in Prescott, Ariz.

Brown, who lived in a low-rent motel with his dog, faced homelessness as the motel was foreclosing. Catholic Charities staff, Milissa Koel, reached out to the motel’s residents to assist in finding new homes.

John Nystedt had never considered adoption. He wasn’t against the idea, it had just never occurred to him. He already had three biological kids. But his wife Annette dreamt of bringing children into her home—children who had no one else— and making them family.
